My Sweeva Review

Happy Tuesday!

While I know many of you have already joined I thought today would be a good day to write a quick Sweeva review for those of you who still have not checked it out.

In case you missed it.  Sweeva is a new concept traffic exchange program that was created by Jon Olson, Tim Linden, and Austin Hallock which launched  last Tuesday.

Here’s my link:

I know the words “traffic exchange” tend to scare people off but Sweeva is something totally different which is using what they are calling “social  browsing”.

The idea with Sweeva is that all active members are viewing the same pages at the same time.  They can then leave real-time comments about the site they are viewing.

I was actually a beta tester for the site but now that’s it has launched I can’t tell you how much cooler Sweeva is now that there are over 6600 people using it.

I think my favorite part of Sweeva is being present when my site is being shown…

When your bid is accepted at Sweeva you are told exactly what time your page will be shown on the system.  As soon as my site comes up I will post a message telling everybody that I am there and maybe give them a little extra incentive to sign-up at my site.  I can even interact with the people viewing my page to address any concerns they have about my site.

Here are some real-time stats and comments about some of the pages I am currently showing on Sweeva:

Pretty neat, huh?

In addition to just looking at websites there is a slew of ways to earn credits at
Sweeva and a whole leveling system that unlocks new features depending on how active you are.  This makes Sweeva a totally addictive experience.

The only thing on Sweeva I am not too crazy about is the “bidding” system.  The way it works is that Sweeva decides who’s site to show next based on how many credits each person has bid.  During the day when Sweeva is most active the bidding can get a little bit competitive.  For example, right now
there are about 35-40 people browsing Sweeva and I am bidding about 80 credits to get my site seen while some people are bidding 100-120 credits.  Those people aren’t getting any extra benefits for their credits other than having their site seen a little sooner than mine.

The bidding concept can be a little confusing for new members.  From inside the members area you can see real-time stats of how many people are viewing each webpage.  My advice is to bid twice as many credits and then adjust your bid depending on how long it takes to see your site. Bidding twice as much works out to about 2:1 ratio which is as good if not better than your
typical traffic exchange plus you get the added benefit of people who are actually looking at and commenting on your website.

Conversions are way better than other traffic exchanges.  Over the past week my two best splash pages have received 7,906 hits which have generated 94 click-thrus and 20 new sign ups.  Not too bad.

The Sweeva commissions are also really sweet. I’m earning an average of $3.18 for every member I refer to the site.  That’s way more than any traffic exchange I have ever promoted.

One thing I should point out is that if you are going to join you should really pay close attention to the “One Time Offer” you will see when you sign-up.  Almost all of my referrals who have upgraded skipped this offer and ended up paying the full price inside the site. Sweeva is the real deal!  It’s not something
you will use once and forget about.  If you can afford the upgrade when you join… grab it!

Ok, this is getting much longer than I had planned.  I’ll just end by saying that
Sweeva definitely gets a big thumbs up from me.  If you have tried other traffic exchanges and got poor results then I suggest going into Sweeva with an open mind.  Sweeva is truely like nothing else you have tried before and
needs to be experienced at least once.

“TE Teams” Has Arrived!

Now this is cool!

Last night while hanging out at TE Live I had the fortune of witnessing the birth of a brand new concept in downline building.  It’s a new program that is being called “TE Teams“.

TE Teams was created from scratch over the last week by Tim Linden, John Guanzon, Austin Hallock, and Jon Olson.  The idea is to build your downlines in a variety of programs using teams instead of trying to do it alone.

The new site is very slick and is designed to build your downlines in TrafficWave, TEToolbox, Thumbvu, StartXchange, I Love Hits, Traffic Splash, and Dragon Surf.

Since I was there for the unveiling I was lucky enough to snag a position of “team leader” for my own team called… (drum roll)…  EXCELSIOR!

So far, i’m loving it!  In the few hours since I have been a team leader we have rocketed to the top of the teams list and we have even generated a few referrals for our members.

TE Teams is totally free to join.  There are no OTOs or upgrade offers.

If you are interested in building your downlines in the above programs and you feel that you would like to contribute to Team Excelsior we would love to have to on board.  Simply click the link below to join for free.

Who Wants to Make Some Money?

Well that was fun.

As you may or may not know I have been working my butt off rewriting my first ebook which is all about advertising with free traffic exchange programs.  It’s been going slow but I really got into it again a few weeks ago and was hoping to do a huge relaunch at the end of the month… and then Tony Tezak released Traffic Exchange Solutions a few days ago.  D’oh!

Tony is sort of a legend in the TE world so there is no way I could realistically release my ebook right on his heels and expect any amount of excitement for it.  I guess that just gives me a little more time to work on my book to make it even bigger and badder than ever!  You’ll just have to wait a few weeks longer before you get a chance to behold it’s brilliance.  lol.

In the meantime I figure I should keep this writing thing going and post some new content.  I decided to write a short info series for the people who are still struggling to make money online.

Before we get started I should probably point out that while there are a whole lot of good free traffic sources and free services out there that you can use to build your business…  from my personal experience it is almost impossible to start a successful online business with absolutely no money.

Not exactly what you wanted to hear, right?

The good news is that it doesn’t take much money to start and most of the tools you will be using include affiliate programs that can eventually earn you a tidy profit every month.

So here is your first assignment…

Follow this link and download a free copy of a book written by my good friend Jon Olson called “The Pizza Plan”.  Inside you will find the exact budget that Jon used when he quit his job and started working online full-time.  It includes the “must have” tools that every Internet marketer needs.

Click here to get The Pizza Plan:

Think about how much you are willing to set aside each month for your own online business.  You don’t need to spend as much as Jon did but if think you can build a successful online business with zero out of pocket expenses you are going to have a very long struggle ahead of you.

We’ll start getting into the good stuff next time so keep checking back here or subscribe to this blog at the top of the page so you don’t miss an another action packed update.

Enjoy the book!

Jon Olson Discusses The Importance of Personal Branding

Happy Sunday!

One of the key points that I try to emphasize to people who are just getting
into Internet marketing is how important branding is to their business.

Branding is something that is often overlooked by marketers as is evidenced by the number of people out there promoting generic affiliate pages without any kind of personal branding.

Branding is important!

I learned this first hand from working with the “TE guy” Jon Olson himself.

Click here to access an exclusive interview with Jon Olson where he breaks down exactly what you need to know about branding in safelists and traffic exchanges to get better results from your efforts.

You will also get a sneak peak at what is sure become one of the most innovative TE launches of 2010.  I have been beta testing this site and it’s really like nothing you have ever seen before.

Check out the interview with John Guanzon to get a front row seat to the launch of this exciting new traffic exchange where quality advertising and social media blend seamlessly together.

Taking the Plunge with Traffic Wave

I’ve said many times before that a professional autoresponder is one of the most powerful weapons in any successful Internet marketer’s arsenal. Over the past few years Aweber has become accepted as the king of autoresponders based on their features and more importantly their excellent delivery rate. Until now Aweber was the only autoresponder I would personally recommend but it looks like now I will be making the switch to Traffic Wave.

I actually joined Traffic Wave once about 6 years ago. At the time I think it was an FFA site with an autoresponder feature and some kind of income opportunity that I didn’t really understand. I joined because I thought I could make money from it and of course I didn’t so I quit.

Over the years I have seen various programs pushing Traffic Wave as a way to make money.  Because of this I always assumed that’s what it was… an income opportunity with an autoresponder tacked on to make it appear legit. I even expressed this opinion at NMF a few months ago and was surprised when the owner of Traffic Wave, Brian Rooney, showed up to dispel this myth and prove that Traffic Wave is a real autoresponder with delivery rates that could compete with the best autoresponders out there.

I kinda forgot about it until a few weeks ago when Jerry Reeder and I got into a discussion about Aweber’s new form builder and the possibility of switching to Traffic Wave to offer a simpler solution for our readers. When Jon Olson decided to make the switch to Traffic Wave live on TrafficExchangeLive last week we both took the plunge with him.

I’ve spent the last few days playing with Traffic Wave and I am happy to say that it has improved from where it was 6 years ago.  Improved a lot!  Traffic Wave is the real deal.  From what I can see Traffic Wave offers all the features as Aweber along with a very accessible owner who understands the needs of Internet marketers like myself.

The price is a big factor too.  When I joined Aweber I must have locked in a monthly subscription price which is roughly the same as Traffic Wave.  At some point Aweber changed their pricing based on the size of your list.  I guess as a long-time member I was exempt from the price change because based on the size of my list I should be paying an extra $50/month at Aweber.  Traffic Wave on the other hand has a flat monthly fee no matter how big your list gets.

What makes my decision to switch to Traffic Wave really interesting is that Traffic Wave is also an mlm complete with a forced matrix and fast track bonuses.  A few years ago I stated that I was done promoting these kinds of programs because instead of trying to sell good products you always end up pushing the opportunity.  When people fail to make money with the opportunity they quit and the whole thing falls apart.

Traffic Wave on the other hand is a real competitive autoresponder service that I am happy to use and recommend with or without the income opportunity.  The fact that I can make a lot more money with it is just an added bonus.

I don’t personally have any problems with Aweber.  I still think it’s a great autoresponder.  But when it comes time to recommend an autoresponder based on price and features I will have to go with Traffic Wave now.

I haven’t started promoting Traffic Wave yet.  I’ll probably start by updating the links in some of my ebooks and adding it my downline builders.  Once I get a few referrals then i’ll probably start pushing it a little harder.

If you have been on the fence about getting an autoresponder now would be a good time to join Traffic Wave.  I can’t promise that you will make thousands of dollars a month just from being in my downline but if you choose to use Traffic Wave to build your list you can feel confident that you are getting a professional autoresponder service that will become the backbone of your business for years to come.
