Introduction
I love a good splash page. When it comes to driving traffic to my websites sometimes I only have a few seconds to grab someone’s attention. Coming up with a unique splash page for me to promote is a great way for me to do that.
I have seen a lot of very creative splash pages over the years but few recently have made as much of an impression on me as the ones being put out by Second Splash.
I mean, how do you ignore a splash page with a video of a guy in a Spider-Man costume knocking on your screen?
What is Second Splash?
Second Splash is a new marketing tool from Craig Haywood that is designed to generate free traffic through its unique splash page marketing system.
The central feature in Second Splash is the splash page maker. Here you can design custom splash pages that you can use to promote almost anything.
The stats dashboard provides you with metrics needed to track the success of your splash pages so you will always know how well your pages are performing.
Why Second Splash?
After you create your splash page within Second Splash you are given a unique URL to promote it.
In addition to promoting your splash page, a second splash page will be shown along with it. 50% of the time this will be your sponsor’s splash page and the other 50% of the time it will belong to a random pro member.
You can see an example of this below.
Or click here to see one of my splash pages.
The idea here is that anyone you refer to Second Splash who wants to promote their splash page will be showing your pages with it 50% of the time.
If you are an upgraded member you will also receive traffic from the other 50% of the splash pages randomly showing your pages across the network.
How does Second Splash help you build a list?
It’s no secret that list building is one of the most powerful marketing tools for making money online. The Second Splash referral program gives members an easy way to do this.
When you promote Second Splash your first two referrals are sent to your sponsor. These are considered to be your “qualifying” referrals. You get nothing for them. However, every referral you make after that is yours to keep.
Why is this good?
Because every referral you make after this will be passing their first two referrals up to you who will be passing their first two referrals up to you as well.
You can use the built-in mailer to contact any of your referrals (even the ones you didn’t personally refer) at any time. Upgraded members can even export the contact information for all of their referrals to a .csv file which can be uploaded to an autoresponder.
How much does Second Splash cost?
Seconds Splash offers free and pro memberships. The price of a pro membership is currently $24 a month or $240 a year. They also offer a lifetime membership for $450.
Free members are restricted to very basic splash pages but can still use the system to build their lists and earn 25% commissions from their downlines.
What is included in the Second Splash pro membership?

Second Splash Pros
Here are some of the things I like about Second Splash.
- The splash page maker couldn’t be easier to use. It comes with a good-sized library of eye-catching background designs in dozens of categories that you can choose from.
- Detailed stats let you manage your traffic and tweak your splash page designs to get the best results.
- 2-Up referral system builds your list and puts more members in your downline.
- Free members can still earn 25% commissions. That works out to $112.50 if you sell a lifetime upgrade.
- The site is fun and makes it easy for new members to get referrals.
Second Splash Cons
Here are some of the things I don’t like about Second Splash.
- The splash page maker for free members is very limited.
- You can’t export your splash page designs to be shown outside of the Second Splash system.
Final Thoughts
Second Splash should be a slam-dunk for me. It’s unique, it’s fun, and it’s very well put together.
My only issue with Second Splash is that you need to be able to sign-up new members to make it work. Thankfully the system is designed to make it easy for new members to get referrals but I could see this being a problem for anyone who doesn’t want to promote it.
Where Second Splash shines for me is as a list builder. I like being able to use the Second Splash marketing tools to build my list. Even free members can take advantage of the Second Splash referral system to build a good-sized list with minimal effort.
