We made it!
It’s safe to say that 2020 was a tough year for a lot of people around the world. There is still no way to know what the long term effects of the corona virus will have on our industry. From my own perspective it does appear that a lot more people are seeking opportunities to work from home or at least looking for a secondary source of income to help in times of need.
I haven’t had a chance yet to look back on my yearly safelist stats for 2020 but I would say that depending on what I was promoting I have received some fantastic results from advertising on safelists. I feel like I am still just scratching the surface of the potential safelist advertising offers. Anyone with the time and skills to create attractive advertisements has a great opportunity to clean up in 2021.
On to my stats…
So last month I was forced to switch things up a bit because the ads I had been promoting started going stale. I haven’t had the time to create any new ads lately so I recycled my “9-5” squeeze page that I had been promoting earlier in the year. It turns out just swapping your ads out every few months is enough to really boost your conversions. I went from almost no sign-ups in November (a measly 12) to the stats you see below.
Just to get the basic disclaimers out of the way, the stats below came from the 40 or so safelists that I use almost every day to promote my sites. The “Signups” listed below are the number of people who subscribed to my mailing list through the page I am promoting and verified their email address. While there are many other safelists out there these are the ones I am currently using. These stats show only the number of new members received by using the “credit mailer” and do not include any banner or login ads. I also like to point out that I am upgraded at most of these sites and spend a lot of time reading emails to earn enough credits to send my ads. My own Mister Safelist does not appear on this list but it should always be assumed that Mister Safelist is awesome.

Don’t forget that the stats above are provided only to show which mailers are currently working best for me at this time. What works best for you might be something entirely different. The only way to know what sites work best for you is to track your own ads using a service like HitsConnect.
